They make outstanding everything! Bread, snack breads like rolls and pretzels, cakes. I wish I lived closer so I could go there every week. I highly recommend this wonderful business!

My friend’s mom is from Germany and raves about this place. You must only come here for bread and you must come early because they will sell out! It’s just divine when you enter. The smell of all that fresh deliciousness with incredible ambience. The staff is welcoming and knows their product. Their kitchen is open and you can watch their expertise and bread oven. Completely worth visiting!!!

The people here are very nice. I bought a pecan pie and my wife and her sister thought it was the best pecan pie ever! The entire pecan pie was gone in a couple of days! Thanks again for a great pie. I will definitely be back!

NOT a good experience and we will not be back. We used to live near the BreadHaus and whilst travelling wewere excited to go back to get more of the fabulous breads we used to buy there. An extremely rude lady served us. We tried to engage with her as we shopped, after all my husband grew up in the same area of Germany she is from. But not even a smile and difficult to get answers about the products. She was very short with us and yet no one else was in shop until we were at the point of paying. Lunchtime and almost no bread left. So instead we purchased 4 different scones. They are ok but tasteless the only one we know for sure is the blueberry as it is blue streaked. I am eating one as I write this and I just hope the hair I found it is mine! The pretzel was a disappointment. We still have not tried the pecan pie. It looks good though. The date and nut bars were quite good although perhaps a tad dry. You would be better off going to the bakery dept at HEB

We absolutely 100% LOVE this old fashioned, traditional bakery. We drive over 170 miles to come specifically here. We get the salzstangen, pretzels, sourdough, oatmeal, streusel and so much more. We love everything they offer and almost cry when we can’t get it. This is a staple for us and we will always keep coming back.

Sweet individuals serving up some beautiful breads, pastries and goodies - even protein balls. Popular spot with super friendly vibes - those who know what is good. I picked up my Irish ☘️ soda bread, fresh out of their ovens! Go and try. Hubby is already planning our next stop - very soon!!!

This place had been on our radar for a while. We were walking around downtown Grapevine a few weeks ago and took a short detour from the south end of Main Street only to find out... they were closed because it was a Monday! *sad trombone* Anyway, we were there again today because my nerd son wanted to go to the Warhammer store and his nerd dad was only too happy to take him. Meanwhile, my decidedly-not-nerd wife remembered BreadHaus and so we made another quick detour and they were open! Hooray! If you're like me and bakeries instantly put you in your happy place, then run-don't-walk to BreadHaus. This place is a German-style bakery par excellence! Lots of unique items to choose from, whether you want bread loaves or pies to bring home, or a simple streusel or Bavarian pretzel to munch on while you stroll downtown Grapevine! We were on a mission for the Bourbon Chocolate (Pecan) Pie and managed to snatch what I think was the last one. Also picked up a piece of their blueberry streusel and a chocolate mini-cake for the kids. Okay, you know how a lot of times, "Pecan pie" is just a glob of sugary sludge in a bland crust with a few pecans tossed on top? This is why we can't have nice things, people. Well let me introduce you to the most amazing and perfect and Pecanny pie ever. It was outstanding! The helpful worker at the counter let us know that their pies can stay out on the counter top "for up to two weeks" and we just laughed. Bless your heart, this pie won't last for two days. Amazing. If you look at the picture I've provided, you may also note that they sell their pies in glass pie dishes -- bring them back for a discount on your next pie! Brilliant! I don't know if it actually makes the pie taste better, but let's just assume that that's part of the magic. We will absolutely be back!

Fantastic German immigrant-style bakery. I ADORE this place, especially the train rolls and different styles of rye bread. A lot of people also come here for the confections, but as a real Old World bread appreciator, I always give this place two thumbs up. The quality rivals what you get in major metro regions like New York City, or world-class bakeries like Mediterra in the Pittsburgh metro. The price point is also very reasonable for the quality and care. Order online a couple of days in advance (off peak season) to guarantee that they have what you want. The German rye is one of the best breads I have found for making kvass, FYI. For the 5 of us in DFW who do this at home. I'm not sure I would say Breadhaus always replicates bread as it is baked in Western Europe today. Instead, it is more of a style akin to bread as German immigrants to the US would have baked it with available ingredients here. In my opinion, this makes the bread both very wholesome/natural but also quite tasty; having had German bread, I prefer the unique style of Breadhaus.

The baked goods were fresh, fluffy, and delicious. I tried their classic croissant, and it was perfectly buttery and flaky, with just the right amount of sweetness. The bread was soft on the inside and had a perfect golden crust. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was cozy, making it a great spot to grab a treat and relax.

Amazing across the board from price to service and taste! I stopped in because I was in the area, and I’m glad I did. I got a little bit of everything. The Oma’s sourdough was my personal favorite out of the bread I picked out, but all were amazing .
